WHOLE HOUSE FACELIFT

After these Monkton homeowners sought an update for their existing home exterior, Greenleaf worked to not only improve the façade of their exterior but also improve the year-round comfort of their home with a deep energy retrofit. Rigid foam insulation was installed on each exterior wall to insulate and seal the house, and prefinished James Hardie siding was installed and trimmed with Versatex composite trim pieces. We replaced all the windows and transformed the wraparound porch with new flooring, a composite beadboard ceiling, and a rebuilt railing system. The result is a home that is more energy efficient and comfortable. In addition, we donated the existing windows and siding to Habitat for Humanity for reuse.
