ROSEBERY INTERIOR RENOVATION

In this renovation of a newer home in Pikesville, we teamed up with Redhead Design to dramatically transform the interior space of the first floor. Our first task was to remove a wall and connect the new kitchen to the rear sunroom to allow natural light to flow into the space. We removed the existing kitchen and fully donated it to The Loading Dock, then installed a new kitchen featuring custom inset cabinetry filled with carefully designed storage components. A stained walnut island with butcher block countertop complements the painted white perimeter cabinetry with Taj Mahal quartzite countertops and handmade ceramic backsplash tile. One of the unique features of the kitchen is a hidden doorway within the cabinetry leading to a walk-in pantry with custom storage solutions. In the sunroom, we added custom walnut bar cabinetry with a beverage center, roll out wine storage trays, and a liquor cabinet with receding doors.

Replacing all the floors on the first floor with wide-plank white oak engineered floors completely changed the look of the first floor and added warmth to the open spaces. Finally, we rebuilt the main and secondary staircases to include more clean and simple painted balusters and newels with stained oak handrails and new site-finished stained oak treads.
