Homeland Colonial

This contemporary kitchen remodel in a Colonial style home in Homeland was designed by Chris Daniels and the owners. With access to the dining, living, and family room, this kitchen is the focal point of the home. It serves as both a unifying element and a contrast to more traditional features in the home. The European style cabinetry was custom built to suit this space and offers a variety of creative storage options: wide drawers, appliance storage, shelving, and a pullout spice tray. The countertop was designed and fabricated by Greenleaf craftsmen. Spray foam insulation helps to air seal the exterior wall and keep the kitchen comfortable. The large size glass tile backsplash is illuminated by LED undercabinet lighting and serves as a contrast to the darker tile floor.
