Primary Suite and Bathroom Addition in Cedarcroft
This second-floor primary suite addition in the Cedarcroft neighborhood was designed to provide a seamless blend of modern functionality and historic charm. In collaboration with SM&P Architects, Greenleaf ensured that every detail complemented the home’s original architecture, maintaining the character of its cedar shingle siding and slate roof.
The homeowners, with a growing family, needed additional closet and bathroom space while preserving the style and integrity of their home. The result is a thoughtfully designed primary suite that enhances both daily living and long-term home value.
Elegant Bathroom Design
The new primary bathroom was designed to be both luxurious and highly functional. A standout feature is the suspended mirrors placed in front of windows, allowing for natural light while maintaining privacy. The space is finished with marble tile flooring accented by a contrasting border, adding a refined touch.
Additional custom elements include a handcrafted vanity with a marble top and decorative backsplash, as well as built-in storage solutions tailored to the homeowners’ needs. The spacious shower is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring a linear drain, dual showerheads, and a hand-held wand.
Custom Walk-In Closet
To maximize storage, the addition includes a large walk-in closet designed with both style and practicality in mind. The layout provides ample space for organization while maintaining an open and airy feel.
This primary suite addition reflects GreenLeaf Construction’s commitment to blending historic architectural elements with modern design solutions. Every detail was carefully considered to enhance the home’s aesthetic while improving the functionality for a growing family.
For homeowners looking to expand their living space without compromising on character, Greenleaf specializes in thoughtful renovations that honor a home’s history while providing the comfort and convenience of modern living.

As an engineer, I truly appreciated Greenleaf’s attention to detail, their understanding of construction theory, and their willingness to take the time to do it right. And the dog? Well, I think he is still heartbroken over the absence of the crew that was willing to throw the Frisbee for him.

I cannot say enough good things about Greenleaf, George and Derrick. They were a complete pleasure to work with from start to finish. Extremely responsive, very honest and professional, and fantastic work. They kept to the schedule, and I really appreciated their input on several decisions – what was worth spending money on and where we could save costs. I was sad when the job was over that we wouldn’t get to see them anymore! I will absolutely use them for any future renovations, and strongly recommend them without reservation.

We recently completed a renovation of the back wing of our home with Greenleaf, and we are thrilled with the results. The renovation process is difficult under any circumstances, especially when you are living in the house, but Randy, our lead carpenter, took very good care of us and was extremely patient even when we were frustrated. Greenleaf does meticulous work, and our designer, Marci Lief, was terrifically creative, transforming some difficult spaces into gems.

I found Greenleaf Construction to be a reliable, knowledgeable, and cost-conscious roof deck construction company. They knew the best materials and had the carpentry skills to do the job the right way.

Greenleaf replaced our large, 2-story city deck with a very attractive, sturdy, composite deck. Every step was done professionally, from an initial thorough meeting with their team to plan the process with our lifestyle in mind and continued with excellent work habits of the carpenters and supervisors. The site was left neat and clean each day, and work commenced and was completed on schedule. I would recommend them for any home improvement project.

We hired Greenleaf for a complete remodel of our home including kitchen, bathrooms, and removing walls to create an open architecture. George Brown and his team did an exceptional job, exceeding our expectations. Our project manager, Derrick, was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Casey, our lead carpenter, was meticulous, down to the last detail. We appreciated the integrity and skill demonstrated by the entire team. We also were impressed with the creativity they brought to the project and that they worked hard to keep the scope within our budget. Highly recommended!

This is now the focal point of the new […]
The renovation of this mid-century modern home was envisioned and designed by Place Architecture and brought to life by Greenleaf craftsmen. The project began with major infrastructure work underneath the existing floors where new plumbing lines and HVAC ducts were channeled to run underneath the new concrete floors. We removed and reconfigured walls to […]

To open up the space, the team removed a load-bearing wall and installed a beam between the kitchen and dining room. In addition, we reconfigured door openings to allow natural […]
