George developed his knowledge of older homes and construction solutions from practical, hands-on experience as a carpenter and research into current building science. At an early age he was introduced to renovation and construction by working as a carpenter’s helper during the summer for his family’s business. His woodworking experience and attention to detail came from his time working for a historic pipe organ builder in the Pacific Northwest. He has also trained as a carpenter with various contractors in the Baltimore area. He is a member of Brown Memorial Park Ave. Presbyterian Church, The Rotary Club of Towsontowne, and Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 828 in Timonium.  He enjoys learning Spanish, playing the piano, cooking, hiking, and traveling with his wife, daughter, and son.
