Nestled into the tree canopy, this private, Mid-Century style home was completely renovated by Greenleaf craftsmen for two writers based on vision and designs from Place Architecture. The size of the existing windows was increased and all new Marvin windows were installed throughout. A tri-folding Marvin door opens up to connect the new screened porch addition with the sun room. Walls throughout the house were removed or reconfigured to open up the space, ceilings were vaulted in the kitchen area, and a private writing studio was created for the client. The kitchen was relocated from the front of the house and features cabinetry custom built by a local cabinet maker as well as quartz countertops. The home systems were improved with new lighting, electrical upgrade, insulation, and complete geothermal heating and cooling system.
