Project Details

  • Neighborhood: Roland Park
  • Type of Work: Kitchen, Interior, and Exterior Renovation

Pat Caulfield designed this kitchen, a perfect family gathering space when the grandchildren visit. Multiple structural walls were removed and the kitchen was expanded into an old porch to create more floor space. An open floor plan includes a center island and a bay window seat, artfully restored by Greenleaf craftsmen with custom milled trim. White diamonds granite countertops beautifully reflect natural light from the new Marvin wood windows, and the sink was relocated under a triple casement window. New quarter sawn white oak flooring and custom milled mouldings were historically restored to match the rest of the house. The stained cherry inset cabinetry was custom designed by Pat Caulfield and crafted specifically for this project. The home was also made more efficient through air sealing and insulation work. The existing cabinetry and appliances were donated to Habitat for Humanity for reuse.
